There is now a lot of scientific research on gratitude.
People who focus intentionally on what they appreciate are happier.
Energy flows where attention goes.
If you are busy appreciating whats around you, you will always find more to appreciate.
What’s on your mind keeps bringing more of that.
In the same way, you’ll be familiar with these days when we say I have got up with the wrong foot. Since nothing seems to work. Like dominoes, everything seems to fall on the “wrong” side.
But it is also possible to consciously put the focus on something else.
You can do this at any moment as soon as you notice it.
It also helps to say loudly “stop” and then consciously look at what is just fine.
I breathe. Free and easy. I have good air to breathe.
I have access to nourishing food.
I can choose with whom I speak and what about.
A smile. A nice greeting. A good book. An inspiring podcast.
Watching a small child being lost in play. Or a dog or cat or any animal.
Come play a game with me.
