Or did you wake up feeling afraid?
Starting the day with fear is okay.
Fear has its purpose.
Figuratively speaking, you are sitting at the steering wheel of your life vehicle and fear may ride with you on the right back seat, so you can always keep an eye on it in the mirror.
In no case may fear be allowed to take over your steering wheel.
If that happens, you feel panic, overwhelmed and very little.
If you change seats with fear, nothing works anymore.
Accept of panic.
If you suppress fear, it’ll just grow big and fat.
Fear will always find a way to make very clear it exists.
Because it has important tasks.
It protects us against dangers that can be, e.g.: Do not cross a busy street without checking. Do not jump out of an airplane without a parachute. Eat nothing that could be rancid. […] and much more.
But if you are aware of the fear, you twinkle or beckon in the mirror, it’ll relax and only remind you from time to time to be careful.
Fear does not like to be ignored.
It will always remind you loud and clear: I am here.
And suddenly, faster than you can see, you have changed places again and fear is at the wheel and takes over control.
This is when you feel most uncomfortable.
You cling panicked to the front seat, having the feeling everything has slipped out of your hand.
And it did.
Totally understandable, if you look at who is sitting at your wheel.
The good news is:
you always can take over your own steering wheel.
By perceiving the fear and saying, “Hello, it’s good that you’re here. Thank you for protecting me from danger. And now go back to the back seat. I keep an eye on you. But the steering wheel is mine. That’s my place. ”
Immediately you will feel better.
Maybe a bit shaky.
But definitely better, because your steering wheel is in your hands.
Thats the way it needs to be.
All feelings are allowed to and also allowed to join the ride.
Others just for a while, they can be seen and then say goodbye.
Everything you feel wants to be acknowledge by you.
Some feelings you can observe by yourself and say goodbye.
For other it is good if you are looking for guidance like therapy or coaching.
Depending on how well you can look at what’s going on inside yourself.
Do you feel overwhelmed? Then allow yourself to reach out for help.
That’s absolutely fine.
You don’t need to be able to fix all by yourself.
If you are over challenged by the repairing your own vehicle, you are looking for a garage without thinking twice.
Do this even more for yourself.
For your inner well-being.
Healing is always possible.
