For me, art begins long before a finished artwork exists.

It begins in the way I see, collect, arrange, notice, and respond to the world around me.

Whether through textiles, photography, objects, words, or even a plate of food, I am always drawn to color, texture, rhythm, contrast, and emotional resonance.

The artwork is often only the visible trace of a much larger conversation between perception, intuition, and life itself.

This series emerges from a state of movement rather than control. Layered lines and shifting faces overlap, appear, and dissolve—capturing moments of connection that never fully settle. It may look chaotic, but beneath it lies a living structure, processing emotion, perception, and relationship in real time. This work is not about clarity or perfection; it is about allowing everything to exist at once, until something true begins to reveal itself.

***** - -  NO – a No that grows out of Love No Ser $***** - -  NO – a No that grows out of Love No Series LOVE.No.8.1.1/1.12.25 This piece begins with a word you don’t immediately see: LOVE written in rows across the entire paper. Like quiet waves in the background, almost invisible, yet always present. A subtle hum of affection, self-protection, longing. A foundation you only notice once you know it’s there, much like self-love that whispers long before it speaks. On top of it lies the NO, cut from a black-and-white print — a solid N, and an O that’s been broken into three parts. A No that isn’t fully round. A No that struggles. A No made of many smaller No’s: No to overwhelm. No to heaviness. No to numbing. No to stuffing down feelings. No to the sense of losing yourself. As long as it’s not a Yes, it remains a No. And this fractured O is exactly that, a sign that boundaries often begin in pieces before they become whole again. Around this No are little horses, creatures you can’t lie to. Horses respond to honesty. To inner truth. To what you feel beneath the surface, even if you don’t say it out loud. They run, stand, or rest on the letters as if they’re protecting this No. As if they know it isn’t directed against the world, but for something: for clarity, for feeling again, for a moment of real authenticity. This artwork is a snapshot between resistance and rediscovery. A No standing on a hidden bed of Love. The figure has no head- instead, a sea-born flower grows from the body- suggesting that true stillness does not come from the mind, but from a deeper, wordless place. Surrounded by movement and emotion, the figure becomes a symbol of inner freedom: a surrender of control, a return to feeling. This work invites slow reflection and speaks to those who seek honesty, mystery, and emotional depth in art.
